Many men are killed with pick axes. Very graphic
The opening titles consist of real photos of deformities including babies and children, these are very disturbing and horrific and set the tone for the rest of the film.
A severed ear is seen in a box, blood and flesh is shown also.
A lizard is chopped into many pieces.
A teenager follows a blood trail to the corpse of a dog we then see that it has been gutted.
A teenager falls down a crevice and lands on his back knocking him unconsious.
A shadowed figure is seen eating something that looks like a leg (no blood).
A man shoots himself in the head with a shotgun, his head explodes, blood and flesh flies everywhere, we then see the aftermath.
A man's head is banged against car door windows 4 times each time his head gets more bloody, we see his head covered in cuts and blood.
A mutant covers a womans mouth to prevent her from screaming.
A man is seen burning alive for a very long time, we see his flesh boiling and burning and his face melting,(Unrated version only) he screams constantly. very disturbing
A birds head is bitten off and its insides are eaten.
A mutant punches and kicks another mutant.
A mutant hits a woman around the face we see bleeding and bruise marks.

A mutant's throat is ripped out by a dog, blood pours from the wound.

A burned corpse is seen with a minature American flag sticking out of his head.
A man and a mutant have a long fight in which the mutants arm is bitten by a dog (no blood), the man is grabbed by the throat and lifted into the air and is then thrown to the floor, the mutant is stabbed in the stomach with a broken baseball bat, the mutant then pulls it out of the wound (some blood), the man is hit in the face with the broken baseball bat, he is then tackled through a wall by the mutant and is then thrown through a window, his two fingers are then cut off with an axe (blood spurts), the mutant then has a screwdriver stabbed through his foot (blood is seen), the man pulls the aformentioned minature flag out of the corpse and pushes it through the mutants neck (blood spurts), the man then hits the mutant in the head with an axe. (flesh bursts from the wound).
A mutant is slashed in the leg with an axe (blood spurts), he is then hit on the back with the axe (blood sprays), he is the stabbed in the eye with the other end of the axe.
There is implication that a dog eats a mutant.
A mutant graphically rips te heart out of a corpse and eats it he is then incinerated by an explosion (non graphic).
A mutant and a man fight, the mutant punches the man (blood flies from the mans face), the man headbutts the mutant, the mutant then uses a tyre shredder to trip the man up, hit him in the shoulder, the man grabs a wound on the mutant's leg, the man is hit in the face with the tyre shredder, his head is then smashed against the floor 3 times.
A mutant is kicked in the face, hit round the face with the butt of a shotgun 7 times (blood flies around), he is then shot in the stomach (no blood) and then in the neck (blood sprays) and also in the shoulder (blood spurts).
2 mutants fall off a cliff hitting a rock below, we see the bloody aftermath.
The incinerated mutant is found to be still alive with graphic burn marks all over his body, he is killed with a pickaxe to the forehead (off screen but bloody aftermath)..

The mutants are very grotesque, sadistic, and violent. They enjoy torturing humans in any way, shape, or form and do so graphically in this movie.
There is one extremely vicious scene where a teenaged girl is raped by a mutant.
...and her older sister (still younger in age however) is groped, molested and then murdered right in front of her, and she is forced to watch.
The first scene in the movie involves 2 scientists getting violently slaughtered.
The entire last half of this movie is extremely violent and graphic and not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.
MPAA/USA - Rated R for strong gruesome violence and terror throughout, and for language.
BBFC/UK - Rated 18 (strong bloody violence). |
