| violence | A boy is punched in the face and choked. A boy is cuffed violently on the ear and his fingers are stepped on. There are multiple instances where the authority of the camp disciplines the boys, including the main character. The main character is seen being canned on the hands and back "until he bleeds". No blood is seen but the bruises and the act is seen. A boy kills himself by drowning, the act isn't seen but the body is found floating in the water. There are a few fist fights between the boys. During a riot, all the boys beat up and use tools as weapons as they attack the authority. They proceed to hang and torture the man who molested the boy earlier in the film but decide to save him. Some men with guns shoot a boy in the leg to stop him from running. A boy falls through the ice and freezes to death |
