| nudity | 7.5/10 At about 41:30, Kathy is seen in a bathroom taking off her shirt and shaving her armpits. You can see her nipples through her pink bra. Her breasts are very big so it is easily noticeable. At 48:25-49:10, we see a brief sex scene where Kathy and Lester completely nude. Passionate kissing, rubbing of hands on skin, an extremely brief shot of the females butt, and also a glimpse of side boob can be seen. Slight moaning is also heard. At 49:25-50:00, a sex scene takes place between Behrani and his wife Nadi . The man is seen on top of the woman. They are kissing and moaning quietly. He then makes a moan which implies climax and they hug.* At 1:11:35, we see Kathy put on a shirt in the dark and see a glimpse of her nipple and some side boob. It is very dark in the room so only a silhouette can be seen. At 1:30:30-1:31:22, Kathy is seen taking a bath and her breasts and nipples can be seen through the water. It is not easily seen. |
| violence | 4/10 At about 32:10, Kathy steps on a board with nails in it with her bare feet. The board is removed and blood can be seen on the board and dripping down her foot. At 1:03:30, Behrani hits his wife, Nadi, on the face after a heated argument. His son, Esmail, then tackles him and they both fall on a table. At 1:43:25, Esmail is shot in the chest. Blood pours out of the wound and Behrani gets covered in blood while he holds his sons body. Esmail is later pronounced dead at the hospital. |

| alcohol | 4/10 We see the Kathy smoking in several scenes and we see her and at times Lester drinking alcohol in a couple of other scenes. Nothing too graphic. Kathy takes a whole bottle of pills ( see Frightening/Intense Scenes). |
| frightening | 7/10 Earlier in the film, Lester leaves his wife without much of a warning. Later, at 1:12:30, his wife and two young children are waiting for him when he arrives to work. Lester and his former wife argue and the children start crying and pleading with him. At 1:25:40, Kathy puts a gun to her head and pulls the trigger, thankfully it is not loaded. She does this multiple times throughout the scene. At 1:30:40, Kathy is seen in the bath taking a whole bottle of pills in an attempt to kill herself. Kathy then passes out and Nadi comes in and makes Kathy throw them up. At about 1:50:00, Behrani poisons his wife and then suffocates himself. The last twenty minutes of the film are very emotional and shocking. Official MPAA Rating: Rated R for some violence/disturbing images, language and a scene of sexuality.
