nudity A woman strips before entering the lake. We see her full body nude from the rear with her buttocks clearly visible, she turns to her left and you see her breasts for a few seconds. A man and a woman sit together in water, it's implied that they are both naked. They kiss. A kissing scene while dressing up after the lake swim. It is not revealed whether anything more happened between them. The cut of the corset reveals some cleavage. A young man is helping a woman who is resting after an accident. He washes her face and neck/upper chest with a wet cloth, then she wakes up and notices he has been staring at her cleavage. A man threatens to rape a woman together with his companions to make her obey his orders. She is saved and he is killed with his pants undone. A witch insults brother and sister by saying they should better "go f*** themselves" or "each other".
violence A woman is stabbed in the stomach. Children lock the witch in a burning oven. Ropes pull a man's arms and legs off. A man decapitates several witches. A man interrogates and beats a witch. A few men hold a woman and another one hits her several times in the face and kicks her after she falls. A troll charges out of the woods and bashes a man's head in. Witches are shot, stabbed, beaten, sliced, diced, mangled etc. A man explodes as blood and guts cover the surrounding people. Witches fly through sharp wires and are cut into pieces graphically. A witch is hung from her feet and beaten. Witches force children to swallow maggots. Witches consume blood with some stuff in it (possibly children's intestines) from bowls. In a flashback we see a man being hanged. A witch holds another witch's hand in a fire to see if they are immune to burning.
profanity Unlike most Fantasy movies, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters contains frequent use of strong profanity. Numerous gratuitous f-words. Words like "damn(ed)" and "hell" in both senses - as an expression of anger and denoting the state of a witch's soul. Numerous insults, particularly towards women.
alcohol Dozens of men and women drink beer from tankards in a pub. A bottle of liquor sits on a desk in an office. A man smokes a pipe outdoors in three scenes.
frightening The witches may be frightening to some people, especially when their faces change. A close-up of maggots may be upsetting to some. Short scenes of peril.
