When a New York reporter plucks crocodile hunter Dundee from the Australian Outback for a visit to the Big Apple, it's a clash of cultures and a recipe for good-natured comedy as naïve Dundee negotiates the concrete jungle. Dundee proves that his instincts are quite useful in the city and adeptly handles everything from wily muggers to high-society snoots without breaking a sweat.

nudity Sue (Linda Kozlowski) goes over to a river to swim. She takes off her skirt, revealing a thong swimsuit. We can see her butt clearly on screen. We see a man in a bathtub, but no nudity is shown. A transvestite is grabbed in the groin to verify that it is in fact a man. A woman is grabbed in the groin to verify that she is not a man. A woman wears a dress that has an open lace style down the side and it can be seen that she is wearing nothing under it - nothing seen. A man hangs out with hookers in a few scenes. A scene that takes place in a club has statues and paintings depicting nude women. They are hard to see. A man kisses another man as a joke. An elderly man slaps a younger man's butt. A woman is scene pretending to be naked, but she reveals that she was just joking. There are many scenes showing women wearing clothes that reveal a lot of cleavage.
violence There are a few, some worse than others, fist fights and punching, as well as guns, knives, and mild blood. A man drives a large knife straight into the head of a crocodile. Some mild blood is shown. In one scene a group of game hunters storm a forest, screaming and shooting kangaroos. A snake is killed bare- handed in a casual manner. While the main couple walk in the evening in a New York location, a man walks up and begs, and the lead gives him something. At that point, the "beggar" pulls out a knife and demands the lead's wallet, obviously frightening the woman, as more robbers show up to help the mugger. The lead laughs and pulls out HIS knife, which is remarkably large, convoluted and scary looking. He takes two swipes at the mugger's jacket, slicing two cuts in it, and keeps up the laughing, comical tone as the band of robbers run off. A gang related fist fight takes place in an alleyway which results in a very intense scene of a gang member being run over by a car, another gang member runs but the driver pulls out a boomerang and throws it at the runner, hitting him in the head.
profanity Multiple uses of "shit", "hell", "bastard", and "ass". One use of "fuck", and another single use of "fag". A man asks an African-American what "tribe" he is in based on his dark skin. Multiple uses of Jesus Christ's name used in vein.
alcohol Multiple scenes of people drinking wine at a party. Multiple scenes take place in a bar and a pub with people drinking liquor. Multiple scenes with people smoking. A brief scene of a druggee snorting two lines of cocaine. A woman describes what cocaine is and what it is used for.
frightening Multiple jump scares occur. Multiple scenes of people walking in the forest which build up tension.
