When the government puts all its rotten criminal eggs in one airborne basket, it's asking for trouble. Before you can say, "Pass the barf bag," the crooks control the plane, led by creepy Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom. Watching his every move is the just-released Cameron Poe, who'd rather reunite with his family. The action climaxes with an incredible crash sequence in Las Vegas.

nudity 3/10 Sex and rape references One of the convict's name is Johnny 23, for the number of rapes he was charged with. Johnny 23 makes remarks to a female prison guard about the ways he is going to sexually abuse her and make himself Johnny 24 afterwards. He attempts to sexually assault her twice before being stopped twice. A convict is shirtless while doing push-ups in his cell. The deleted scenes contain more sexual content that would have possibly earned the film an NC-17.
violence 10/10 Please note that this refers to the extended version, as it is most likely to contain the most violence. profanity 7/10 Atleast 20-30 "f" words ,9-10 "son" words ,3 "s" words and atleast 2 "b" words. The language in this movie is nothing compared to films such as Scarface, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Casino, Wolf of Wall Street, etc. Fairly standard profanity compared to most mainstream action movies.
alcohol 1/10 a man needs insulin.
frightening 7/10 The film's main theme is a plane full of convicts so the atmosphere remains tense throughout, particularly as there are hostages on board and in constant peril. There is a significant amount of violence and suspense both on board the plane and in other scenes involving the convicts which can get very intense. One scene features a psychopathic convict having a tea-party with a small girl. Though criminal activity is suggested, we later see the small girl waving at the plane full of convicts as it disappears into the sky. An airplane crashes into Las Vegas; the entire sequence is intense. Overall, the amount of violence throughout the movie can get disturbing at times. Rated R for: Strong Violence, Graphic Language, Adult Content.(Starz/Encore advisory)
