Movie Parental Guide

nudity Suggested MPAA rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of action violence, some frightening images, language and some sexual content. The following contains spoilers. !SPOILER!: In the scene with Miao Yin and Gracie grabbing onto the swords to take them to the top there is a brief glimpse of female nudity. Miao Yin is in a gold see through outfit and you can see her full butt and the butt crack from top to bottom very clearly when they are levatated to the ceiling. Only a couple of scenes with brief kissing. There are also scenes in a brothel: Nipples seen on main blonde woman through her wet shirt in the water, briefly. 3 quick scenes of a woman in bra running...shirt opened up VERY briefly see a woman (long braid) swim through a sewer tunnel and it looks like she only has a white wet top on and no underwear. No breasts are shown, but it looks like she is not wearing panties. Cuts away before you see her butt. Very brief scene of girls running out of brothel rooms. One is wearing black thigh highs and corset top with cleavage showing. Another girl in the same scene is running towards the camera in a bra and a shirt, but the shirt is wide open. Blink and you miss this entire scene. One girl is tied to a bed in a short dress. Legs and thigh are seen. Briefly see someone walk by with leopard panties on when he first enters the brothel. He watches her butt as she walks away. (2 seconds)
violence Many scenes with martial arts fighting and lots of people being shot. However, these scenes are bloodless. A character expands to ridiculous proportions and explodes off-screen. Green goo is seen splattering out of a room as a result (no realistic gore). A knife is seen stuck in a character's forehead, killing the character. There is no blood.
profanity Some mild profanity throughout with a few instances verging on strong language. 1 use of f-ck "Hell" very frequently, "shit" and variants quite frequently, several instances of "bastard".
alcohol Some scenes involving cigarettes and booze. (Not many)
frightening The following contains spoilers: This movie is not particularly intense as there is a comical undertone running throughout the film. Some scenes however may be unsuitable for younger children, particularly near the end when the 'monsters' appear (one is an eyeball-like thing with tentacles and a slimy werewolf-looking creature appears). !SPOILER!: At about halfway through the film, the two main characters enter a submerged elevator and swim into an underground chamber that has numerous rotting corpses hanging upside down from the ceiling on chains. This can be a pretty frightening scene for young children. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of fantasy violence and action throughout, frightening images, language and brief sexual material.
