At a pool party, some girls are shown in bikinis. Nathan is shirtless in a few scenes. After an intense couple of days of hand holding and death-defying experiences, Nathan and Karen share a passionate kiss that ends up with her straddling him and his hands creeping up the back of her shirt.
violence A teen boy and his father practice boxing and wrestling and we see the two punching each other: the man punches the boy in the stomach until the boy acts as though he is going to vomit (he wipes his mouth and we see no vomit), the boy knocks the man to the ground, the man kicks the boy in the chest and the boy grabs the man and kicks him repeatedly in the groin. Two snipers shoot and kill five men (no blood is visible); we see the bodies of the men hit the ground and later see a man standing over the body of one of them (no blood is visible). A SWAT team storms into an apartment where six men are seen sitting or sleeping, and the team opens fire, presumably killing all of the apartment's occupants. Two gunmen fire machine guns into a restaurant where a man, a woman and a teen boy and teen girl sit; the gunmen enter the room and see the man and the woman slumped over, appearing to be dead (they are unharmed), the man and the woman grab guns and shoot the two gunmen, who drop to the ground (no blood is visible). Two men storm through a door, knocking a woman to the ground, she gets up and kicks and punches the two men, knocking one man into a stair railing and stabbing the other man with a pair of garden shears; she then kicks one of the men through a sliding glass door, and he stands up and shoots the woman as her teen son watches (no blood is visible). As a man checks the dead body of his wife for a pulse, he is shot in the back by another man and a teen boy watches as his father falls to the ground, dead (no blood is visible). A man holds a teen girl at gunpoint, commenting that it is a shame he will have to kill her; a teen boy throws a vase at the gunman, the teen girl runs while the teen boy attacks the man, kicking him in the chest and knocking him to the ground, and the boy then beats the man with a tire iron (the man is presumably killed moments later in an explosion). A man holds a teen boy at gunpoint and people around them run and scream; an unseen shooter shoots the man in the chest and a stain of blood is seen growing on the man's shirt as he lies dead on the ground. Two men punch and wrestle one another until one of the men gets the other in a headlock; the man twists the other man's head, we hear a snap of bone and the man drops the man's dead body to the ground. A teen boy and a teen girl leap into a swimming pool as a car explodes into a massive fireball; a large chunk of burning wood hits the girl in the shoulder as the boy pulls her underwater, and the girl is later seen holding her shoulder in pain and going to the hospital. A teen boy and a teen girl hear a massive explosion and see a fireball in the distance; it is implied that a woman's car had exploded as she drove (we later learn that her body was not in the car and she is seen unharmed). A man grabs a teen girl and punches her, she falls to the ground, he holds her at gunpoint and puts a cigar cutter around her finger; we see the girl moments later unharmed but tied to a chair and her mouth is covered with duct tape (the girl is later seen escaping and unharmed). A teen boy elbows a man in the face and runs away, we see the man chasing the boy through a large crowd, and shoving people out of the way as he runs. A man threatens a teen boy that he will kill all of the boy's friends, saying he had commissioned his adoptive parents to be killed and that he killed the boy's biological mother. A man tells a teen boy that he had killed the boy's mother -- we see a flashback of a woman being knocked to the ground, inhaling toxic gas and dying as the teen boy (as a young boy) watches.
