violence Much of the CG-violence in the film centers on the shark attacking people. Many of the scenes show the victims splashing and shouting in the water before submerging underneath, with no actual depiction of any attack whatsoever. There are three brief scenes that show the shark biting and swallowing its victims, sometimes with brief shoddy CG-blood splatter depicted. Gore is depicted in two scenes, where the dismembered lower limbs of victims can be seen in the aftermath of the sharks attack. A man is killed when a dynamite stick explodes in his hand just before he tosses it, with CG-cranberry juice splattering onto the screen.
profanity There is an instance where the word 'f**k' is used in frustration by a character at the predicament of their situation, and another where a character exclaims 'What the eff?'
frightening Film buffs and film critics alike might die from epilepsy when they see the CG-horror that is the shark, and/or the shaking of the camera to simulate water tremors. Due to some gore and coarse language present in the film, parental guidance is strongly recommended for persons aged 13 and below.
