In one of the stronger scenes, a woman seen to stab and slash herself in the torso with a pair of scissors, which leads to rather bloody results.
In the aftermath of this scene, there is also a vague hint at cannibalism but no significant details are shown, other than a woman swallowing an eyeball.
Another strong scene features a man entering a woman's room and waking her by touching her with a knife. He then forcefully pushes the knife into her mouth. There is a phallic undertone to this scene, as the knife gives the implication of oral sex.

There are several other scenes of violence in the film, most of which are implied or contain little bloodletting.
One scene suggests that a woman or girl is being attacked in a motel room, although only sounds are heard from the adjoining room and nothing is shown; and another scene depicts a woman forcing herself onto another woman [see Sex & Nudity for more details]
There is also a brief instance in the film where a woman pushes another woman into an empty pool and the bloody aftermath is shown.
