In a place where killers are celebrated as heroes, these filmmakers challenge unrepentant death-squad leaders to dramatize their role in genocide. The result is a surreal, cinematic journey, not only into the memories and imaginations of mass murderers, but also into a frighteningly banal regime of corruption and impunity.

nudity A man randomly tells a woman she has a mole on her p*ssy. Some men joke about a woman performing oral sex on a van full of men. Graphic description. Sexual violence: An older man recalls how he would rape women during the raids saying 'If they're pretty, I'd rape them all.' He specifically mentions the pleasure he took in raping 14 year old girls -- very disturbing.
violence The film deals with different people providing their accounts on the many people they killed in their past, including reenactments involving actors. Often times, killing people are spoken as if it was a daily, normal thing for them, no resentment. They often speak about an office where they killed countless people. There are also many people who contributed but claim no responsibility. A man tells how he dragged people and beat them to death. He claimed there was always too much blood, so he used metal hangers. He would tie on part to a pole and wrap it around the person, then pull it hard so there would be less blood to clean up. The man speaking shows what he did on a person, while not actually killing the man he reinacts it on, we still get the visual of how they died. Throughout the movie a lot of people talk about the many people they tortured this way. The men tell a story how they put a man on the ground and set one of the table legs on his throat. They all sat on the table and sang, later finding the man dead. One of the paramilitary leaders go around collecting money from shop owners, claiming to beat them if they didn't give him money. The government forced very young children to watch their violent film involving communist. The little bit we get to see of the film shows men cutting other men with knifes and lots of blood. We hear that the films the kids were forced to watch would traumatize them. The film caused people to want to kill communists and go way beyond. During one of the reinactments, the makeup shows bloody cuts and bruises. A man tells how his father was taken away when he was a child and they found his body and buried him. The men doing the reinactments decide to let him be part of the movie and be one of the actors who are tortured. They 'torture' him like how they would have done to his father. We see the pain in the man's eyes as the men speak how they most likely tortured his father. There are other reinactments that involve torture. Sexual violence: An older man recalls how he would rape women during the raids saying 'If they're pretty, I'd rape them all.' He specifically mentions the pleasure he took in raping 14 year old girls -- very disturbing.
