A building is blown up and the President of Russia falls into the blown up hole in the ground. Where he is shot.
Countless people are pistol whipped and shot at point-blank range (usually bloodless, but not always).
(Theatrical) A man is smashed over the head with a vodka bottle (we see the assailant crack the bottle against his head and we hear him moan, the carnage is barely off-screen); we then see the bloody shards of the bottle but it isn't too unbearable. (Extended/Director's Cut) A man is stabbed in the throat with the broken end of a vodka bottle instead of hit over the head.
A man is held hostage and shot in the Theatrical Version. But drowned in the Director's Cut and the Extended Cut.
There is much more bloody violence in the Extended and Director's Cut of the film. |
