Movie Parental Guide

nudity Two mildly graphic sex scenes Incest implied as a possible cause amongst others for wild and "crazy" behaviour
violence Some violent fights, a person gets shot, stranglings, stabbings and some self harm. This is representative of a culture where violence, vulgarity and racism is not only "de rigueur" but are extolled as desirable virtues.
profanity Non stop profanity depicting a culture where vulgarity is "de rigueur"
alcohol Alcoholic beverages are consumed by most people in Anglo-Irish Australian society and in many instances amongst the subculture depicted, to excess with intoxication as the purpose as opposed to a alcoholic drinks as a food item. Tobacco cigarettes are smoked by many. One instance a victim is smoking cannabis. skinheads for all their nastiness considered drug use as a corruption and not conducive to Nazi racial purity
frightening It depicts uncensored and raw lifestyle of skinheads of Melbourne Australia and is relentless in its honest portrayal. This culture at the time (the late '80s decade) was unapologetic in its counter culture values of non-conformity (with reference to the mainstream culture/s) and extolled as desirable vulgarity, racism, unrestrained and sometimes public, sex; disrespect, violence and "wildness" in general. The charismatic leader of the gang holds as sacred Hitler's tome "Mein Kampf" and sees as evil even non Anglo-Irish food as corrupting. The movie does not promote these values but depicts them as cause and eventual effect.
