violence Contains frequent, extreme, sadistic, often very visceral details of brutal gangland violence. Also contains scenes of torture and violence that are high in impact. Definitely not for kids! --- In the first few seconds of the film, a man is shot in the head with a shotgun at point-blank range and a heavy amount of blood and brain matter is splattered onto the car windshield. This sets the tone for the rest of the film. Three bodies are seen on morgue tables with a pool of blood around the head of the first, a disfigured eye on the second body and a very gory injury on the face of the third. All of the bodies have bloodstains on them. Frequent brawls throughout (particularly large fights in the first half hour). Fights are shown between different groups of football fans, lots of beatings and some bloody detail is shown. Punches with blood splatters etc. A man's faced is burned with a cup of coffee. Two men are beaten with a metal bar. A man gets stabbed in the buttocks with a knife, blood is shown. During one of the numerous fights in the film, a man is struck in the head with an axe (not shown), but plenty of blood is seen pouring down his face. The wound is shown being stitched up in a hospital. A very graphic moment in the film. A group of men destroy of a car with melee weapons. A man is seen brutally gunned down and a woman is also caught in the crossfire. Lots of blood is shown. A naked man (genitals are obscured by shadow) is seen tied to a chair in a torture room. He is then shown lying on the ground with multiple nails (blood is shown) in each arm and leg keeping him down. His genitals are seen. A message has been written on the wall in his blood. Very graphic and disturbing. A man beats up another man in a car. Four men are interrogated in a warehouse, a drug is injected into each of them. One of the men vomits. Some of them are beaten. A man is briefly seen being tasered and clubbed. In a flashback style montage, a man is seen being stabbed in the chest, hit in the face with a bar, a plastic bag is put over his head, stabbed in the stomach, his neck is bitten, his hand is absolutely mangled with a hammer, his tongue is cut. Another man is seen getting punched in the face. Another man is seen being choked with tape. Plenty of blood and cries of pain. Very bloody, graphic and disturbing. A man is seen hanging from a noose after having committed suicide. In a flashback style montage, two women and a man are shown being shot in the head and then their bodies are shot at. Blood is shown. A man is punched in the face and kicked in the stomach, then another man is stabbed in the stomach with a fork and a bottle is smashed over his head. A man is knocked out with a punch to the face. A man beats a sleeping man over the head with a bowling bin. Blood and injury detail is shown. A woman's head is smashed against a wall by an angry man. A man falls out of a 2nd storey window. Two men fight, and one is intravenously drugged with ketamine against his will. A flashback is shown of the third man at the start of the film in the morgue, with a much closer view of the injury to his face. Extremely gruesome and bloody detail. A man dumps a body down an embankment on the side of a road. A man is beaten with a club by three men and then burned with a cigarette. A man is shot in the arm. A man shoots at two men, but misses. A man's face is smashed repeatedly onto a counter, blood is shown spurting from his face. His face is then cut with a pizza cutter. Three men are shot point blank in the face with a sawed-off shotgun, blood is shown. Two men in a car are shot with shotguns in the head, blood splatters onto the windows. A third man in the car is shot in the gut twice with a shotgun, and then point blank in the head. The first two men are then shot in the head again, with more blood splattering onto the windows. Their faces are shown as bloody messes. Very bloody and graphic. The shooters end up getting their faces covered in blood. The three bodies in the morgue from that start of the film are shown being processed. Bloody close ups of the corpses are shown.
profanity Contains 351 uses of the f-word, however, due to the nature of the film you tend not to notice it as it is accepted. Contains a whopping 79 uses of c##t, 4 off of breaking the world record for most uses of c##t in a film currently held by Nil by Mouth which contains 82 uses.
alcohol Frequent hard drugs use shown in clubs and in limousines. Cocaine is used heavily throughout the movie as well as MDMA and ecstasy. Heroin is shown briefly as well as marijuana. There are some scenes were men are drugged intravenously against their will. Multiple characters are shown smoking cigarettes throughout the film.
frightening The frequent and high level of violence throughout the film could be shocking for many people. A man and woman have a very physically intense argument, pushing each other around. In a few scenes, men shout very abusively at women. This film is incredibly graphic in its depiction of violence, which is shown very realistically. Not for those with a queasy stomach, and definitely 18+ only!!
