One of the scenes depicting violence done to the Tibetan people is more poetic imagery than actually violent The other scene that is difficult shows a tribal funeral, and the pragmatic end of the discarded body. The aforementioned funeral was not a "tribal" funeral but one four types of funeral being called "Sky burial" which film makers love showing for shock value. The other types, less graphic, albeit were earth burial, fire burial and water burial. OFFICIAL MPAA - Rated PG-13 for violent images. OFFICIAL BBFC - (12A): occasional horror images. |
