Around the mid-point of the movie, Jake is diagnosed with cancer and he also begins to lose his mind. This entire sequence may be upsetting to viewers who have had family members who went through this or are afraid of going through it themselves. Though Jake does go into remission, the cancer does come back and he later passes away. This whole scene is very sad in tone |
