Movie Parental Guide

nudity 3/10 Implicit themes of beastiality in folk lore, sexual repression, seduction, temptation, the correlation between sexual titillation and violence, and possible lesbian undertones. A woman undresses (mostly off-screen) while preparing a bath. We then see her bare upper-back as she is crouched in the tub. We see a woman in a bathing suit as she prepares to swim, dives into a pool, and then gets out. A man tries to "tame" a woman by kissing her briefly. A man and a woman flirt and he inquires to kiss her, but doesn't.
violence 4/10 A man wrestles with a panther off-screen and we see his dead body turned on the ground (bloodless). A woman is hit in the head by a jumping panther and falls to the ground, where another previous wound is revealed (we see a bloodless blade sticking out of her upper back/neck area), and she dies of her injuries. A panther jumps out of frame and is run over by a car. We see its damaged and bloodied body under the vehicle. A woman accidentally scares a bird to death (we see it fall limp to the bottom of its cage). She then takes the bird and throws it into the cage of a panther, who promptly eats it. A cat/woman creature stalks a woman on two occasions. Both scenes are accompanied with creepy camera work and audio cues. More suspenseful than scary. We see a panther eating raw meat.
profanity 1/10 One use of a possibly derogatory term for a Serbian man. Some name-calling.
alcohol 3/10 Men smoke on several occasions.
frightening Some suspenseful sequences and implied psycho-sexual themes. BBFC - (PG): mild horror. Suggested MPAA Rating: PG for some violence and brief sensuality Overall rating: 11/50 Ages 7+
