In 1989, six year old Martin Bristoll was kidnapped from his backyard swing in Minersville Pennsylvania. Graham Sutter, a psychotic recluse, kept Martin imprisoned on his derelict pig farm, forcing him to witness and participate in unspeakable horrors. Chosen at random, his victim's screams were drowned out by the rural countryside. For five years, Martin's whereabouts have remained a mystery, until 17 year old Allison Miller (Alexandra Daddario) comes to live with her Uncle, Jonathan (Michael Biehn). While exploring her new surroundings, Allison discovers things aren't quite right at the farmhouse down the road. Her curiosity disturbs a hornet's nest of evil and despair that once torn open, can never be closed. Starring Michael Biehn, Brett Rickaby, Alexandra Daddario, and John Savage. Written and Directed by Stevan Mena

Movie Parental Guide

nudity 5/10 A corpse is shown with one breast visible for a few seconds (no more than 3-5 seconds). Two teens kiss in a car. The boy grabs the girl's breasts through her clothing. Allison spends most of the film thoroughly covered up, but in the latter third of the film, she wears a low-cut tank top which reveals her cleavage, and through which the outline of her erect nipples can be seen.
violence 10/10 Much violence and gore. Many stabbings and cuttings. A woman is hung from a meat hook, sent into a furnace, then burned (we do not see her being burned alive. Flames shoot up around her, then the camera cuts away). A boy is cut multiple times throughout the movie. He is also stabbed through the hand with a knife. He cannot feel pain. A house is burned with people inside. Major spoiler: A child stabs one person to death and kills another with an axe.
profanity 5/10 Two F-words, one "goddamn", and a few other mild swears.
alcohol 1/10 A woman is seen with a cigarette for a few seconds.
frightening 10/10 Many intense scenes involving a madman and his victims with a child present. A corpse is shown. The film deals with kidnapping and child abduction. A few women are kidnapped and hung from the ceiling by their hands for some time until they are finally killed. A skeleton is made with human bones and placed below (supposed to be building off of) a skull and horns of a bull. Two teens discuss how their parents died. A girl is missing for some time and her family worries about her. 31/50
