nudity 6/10 Premarital sex and infidelity are recurrent themes. There's little nudity, but there are several explicit conversations about sex. A man and a woman kiss passionately, she wraps her legs around his waist and they continue to kiss. A man and a woman kiss and lie back in a bed, they get out of bed and continue kissing and he kisses down her neck. Also a man and a woman kiss in bed. A man and a woman kiss several times. A man and a woman lie in bed together, presumably after having had sex (we see her bare shoulders and part of his bare chest). A woman invites a man to join her in a restroom for a sexual encounter. A doctor examines a woman in a hospital and touches her breasts repeatedly (she's wearing a bra). A man caresses a woman and she pulls away. A woman talks about having slept with another man and gives details, and a woman talks about having had sex with another man in many places in Europe. A man describes an erotic fantasy, and two men talk about masturbation. A man flirts with a woman. We hear that a man has bite marks on his back from a sexual encounter. A man reminisces about having had sex with a woman in many unusual locales. A woman wears panties and a tight T-shirt that reveal the outline of her breasts and nipples. Women wear low-cut dresses in several scenes that reveal cleavage. A woman talks about a diet pill increasing her sex drive.
violence 3/10 A man talks about having shot and killed a man. A man breaks the windshield and windows of a car with a tire iron. A man yells at another; he stumbles down a staircase holding his chest and collapses on the floor. Three men argue over a parking space and two threaten the other. A woman has a panic attack and gasps for air. A man makes a reference to people having been told that they were "going to showers" in Auschwitz. A man says "I should commit suicide." A man talks about having hit another man on the head with a fire extinguisher. A man says he heard another man say "Jews start all wars." People bicker and argue throughout the film.
profanity 4/10 A couple of uses of "shit", "goddamn", "ass", and some other mild profanities.
alcohol 4/10 A main character constantly smokes, takes diet pills, and drinks alcohol. One scene involves where characters about to snort some cocaine (two for the first time and having a big discussion before hand of the pros and cons).
frightening 0/10 If there were any frightening or intense scenes, they are all meant to be comical in nature. 17/50 - Recommended for 14+ The rating is slightly exaggerated as there is no actual nudity, sex scenes, or violence. Apart from a few instances of sex talk, references, and a scene of cocaine use, the film is relatively very mild. This proves the futility of the R rating. I'd let anyone over 12 watch this.
