Movie Parental Guide

nudity A man talks about cheating on his girlfriend with other women. A man jokingly pretends to manually stimulate a walrus artifact. A man and woman are shown in bed one morning, implying that they are sleeping together. A woman performs oral sex off screen and it is discussed. A man recounts being raped as a child. A naked man is seen on-screen but from a distance and not graphic. Several crude sex jokes and sex comments.
violence The content of violence in this film is very disturbing, however the visual is not and everything shown does look rather fake. An Internet video is shown of a teenage boy playing with a sword; he accidentally cuts his own leg off and falls over. Bone is visible and blood spurts out. This scene is not graphic. A man's left leg is shown amputated from the knee down and crudely stitched. A very clean stitching however, no blood. One scene shows the captor sewing something off screen, he pulls the needle and thread up several times and it is soaked in blood. Around the room human skin can be seen hanging. The camera pans out and it's shown that the main character is unconscious on a table and the captor has cut and pulled his torso skin over and stitched it to his arms. Not graphic, clean stitching and no blood. In a black-and-white flashback, a young man is shown eating part of a walrus's body. A man is surgically altered into a walrus. The entire body is made of patches of human flesh stitched together (there are several shots of the flesh, it is shown that at least one section is made from a man's face). His hands are manipulated and sewn to his upper torso to look like flippers, fingers are shown protruding from the "flippers". His feet are done the same at the end of the "tail" to look like a walrus's tail fin. The man's face is shown to have makeshift walrus tusks (his sharpened amputated leg bones) embedded in his face. Again, clean stitching and no blood. This also looks extremely fake. The captor is shown wearing a walrus suit made in the same manor as the other, from human skin stitched together (still clean stitching and no blood). He then tells the other man to fight for his life and starts attacking him with his "walrus head". They fight. Nothing is shown. Later, the captor removes his suit and pieces of flesh and blood are shown covering him. The man then stabs his captor several times in the torso with the "tusks" that have been embedded into his face causing blood to spurt out and the "tusks" and man's face are bloodied. The captor's body or wounds are never shown.
profanity Very strong language throughout, including many curse words, religious exclamations, and anatomical and crude sexual terms.
alcohol A man is shown in a bar; patrons around him are shown consuming beers. A man is drugged several times by his captor. A man is shown smoking a cigarette and pouring whiskey from a flask into a milkshake before drinking it.
frightening While the film is a horror comedy, some may find it very unsettling and disturbing.
